Mauritius’ Legendary Seafood Experience Since 1985

40 years of passion, carried by the second generation—the three Amigo Brothers continuing a timeless legacy.

A landmark in Cap Malheureux since 1985, Amigo was founded by the late Ambigah Parasuraman, whose passion for the ocean and hospitality made it a destination for seafood lovers across Mauritius. Today, the second generation—his three sons, Kavinen, Yovissen, and Kovishen—carry forward this legacy with renewed energy and vision.

At Amigo, the promise is simple: the freshest daily catch, carefully hand-picked and prepared with precision, paired with refined wines and served with genuine warmth. From lobsters and Giant prawns to the finest fish of the season, every dish is a tribute to the sea and to our family story.

Over the years, Amigo has welcomed both loyal Mauritian families and distinguished international guests, from Jacques Chirac to Christophe Maé, Dadju, Emmanuelle Béart, Julien Lepers, and Chantal Goya. For four decades, discerning diners have returned time and again to savour the unforgettable flavours, timeless elegance, and authentic hospitality that define Amigo.
